GoDaddy.com offers a great service as a registrar. However, there may be a need to transfer your domain name to a different registrar. Go Daddy does not make transferring domains an easy task. In this video we will show you how to get the needed Authorization or Auth Code from Go Daddy so you can complete the transfer.
1. Log in to your account on the GoDaddy.com website.
2. Click on My Account
3. Next to Domains, click Launch
4. Click the domain name you are interested in transferring
5. In the Domain Information section, for Authorization Code, click Send by Email.
6. Click OK twice.
Go Daddy will send the authorization code to the admin email address for the domain name. Be sure to check in your Junk Mail folder as the email may end up there.
