Smelly Washer Review - Does it work?

We have a front loading LG Tromm washing machine. The machine works amazingly well. It uses very little water and the clothes come out nice and clean. However, after about 6 months of usage we noticed a disgusting moldy odor on our towels. Later the odor started to show on shirts, pants and everything else we washed.

We were devastated. We had this really expensive washing machine and instead of making our clothes clean it made everything stink. After doing some Google Searches on moldy smell resulting from the use of the washing machine, we found that there is a flaw in many of the front loading washing machines that causes mold and fungus build up making washed clothes smell really bad.

We also came across a product called Smelly Washer. The product claimed that it was all natural, removed washer odor and it removes towel mildew. We were desperate so we gave it a try.

We were pleasantly surprised. After a few cycles our clothes and towels started to smell less offensive. It took about 2-3 cycles and rewashing our smelly clothes until the odor went away. We now use the smelly washer every 3 months to ensure the odor does not come back. I am happy to say that we highly recommend this product since it has be a couple of years now and we are still odor free!
