Until now, we have been using the PUR 3-stage faucet mount water filter. We decided to give the less expensive Culligan water filter a try.
We use filtered water on a daily basis for making tea, soaking sprouts and washing our fruits and vegetables. The first difference that you notice is that the Culligan is much smaller than the PUR water filter. Whereas the PUR takes over the sink, the Culligan is barely noticeable.
Setting it up was a breeze. It took about a minute. The water tastes fresh and flow is very even. The self-resetting feature to the unfiltered water is a great plus. However, you do waste some water since you first need to run the water and only then you can pull lever to turn on the filter.
We have been using it for about a month and it has been working extremely well. Be sure to watch our review and unboxing video.
