Connecting (pairing) the Jawbone Icon with the iPhone 4 or 4S is easy. I used to have a Blackberry Bold on AT&T. I switched to the iPhone 4S running on the Verizon network. Pairing the headset with the new iPhone was not intuitive. To save you the headache, here are the directions. We also shot a quick video showing how to pair the Jawbone Icon headset with the iPhone.
1. Turn off the Jawbone Icon
2. On the iPhone go to Settings
3. Press on General
4. Press on Bluetooth
5. If Bluetooth is OFF, click on it to turn it ON
6. While holding the talk button on the Jawbone, turn the headset on. The light on the Jawbone should turn red.
7. The iPhone now should display: Jawbone ICON and next to it, the status will show Not Paired. Click on Not Paired which will activate it and pair the devices.You will know that it worked when the phone displays Connected.
Easy as pie. Enjoy.
