We drink a lot of tea so decided that the tea kettle will no longer be sufficient for us. We opted to buy a Zojirushi water boiler. We knew that Zojirushi meant quality but that was not enough, we also wanted to make sure that the product we purchase is made in Japan.
After much research, we were not able determine which if any of the boilers were made in Japan. We contacted customer service and were given the following models that were made in Japan:

We opted to get the CD-LCC30 Panorama Window Micom Electric Dispensing Pot. Phew, that is a long name for an electric water boiler. We liked this model because its capacity was 3 liters and it was able to keep the water warm in 3 different temperatures for different types of teas.
The timer feature is also nice, where you can set it to be ready 7 hours, however, we barely use it. We have been using the boiler almost every day for the past month and it works amazingly well. It heats the water in minutes and being able to see how much water you have available is a real plus.
